I rate everything highly, except atmosphere. The staff was friendly, the hostel was clean and close to the beach (but far from downtown), and it was just a great place to stay. However, they are overly strict on common areas. The kitchen closes at midnight, so you cannot access your food if you come in later. The common area closes at 2am, so if you want to stay up and talk, you cannot do it at the hostel. If peace and quiet are what you want, stay here.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone! Free wifi and breakfast included so another bonus as well. Exceptionally friendly staff who went out of their way to make you feel at home.
It has been almost a year and i still remember the amazing time we had here! A group of 4 friends started our Spain trip from Barcelona. Without doubt the best location we could have picked - on the beautiful and lively las ramblas! The hostel justifies the street on which it is situated. Very lively and fun to be. The first floor is the reception along with the bar and a lounge style sitting which also serves breakfast in the morning. We got a room with 6 bunk beds. It has lockers with keys which malfunction easily. The rooms were clean overall. Don't expect sterilized bedsheets in a hostel. The bathroom was a common one between many rooms. The staff provided good information on the areas and activities as well as about a parties later in the night! Overall an extremely satisfying experience!
Liked: Amazing rooms - clean, huge and bright. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Nice mix of people at the hostel, we were in a hen but there were also families and couples and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
Disliked: Slightly long walk out of town, but is very near metro station and easy journey into center of barcelona/beach.
Liked: The atmosphere was great, the staff were extremely helpful, and the hostel had free events every night. This is honestly the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in.
Disliked: There are no cons to this hostel.
